2 convoys made the epic trip up to the wonders of the Kimberley. Their journey started in Gregory National Park near the WA border in the Northern Territory. After crossing into WA, sightings of crocs were soon seen around Lake Argyle just south of Kununurra. Heading north from Kununurra & with 4WD engaged, river crossings became the norm as the convoy had some fun crossing the Ord River. This experience continued as the convoy headed down the Gibb River Road & crossed many more rivers. The convoy took a break from the Gibb River Road, & headed north to Kalumburu. Many gorges were a must to see with many swimming holes to cool down after a hot day's travelling. Magical views of Mitchell Falls were experienced by some who took on an adrenalin pumped flight in a helicopter. After rejoining the Gibb River Road, the convoy let this great road & headed for the Napier Range to explore Winjana Gorge & Tunnel Creek. With the west coast in site at Broome, the convoy headed for Cable Beach to watch the setting of the sun!
