The first National Conference for all members of the Toyota Landcruiser Clubs in Australia was held in September this year. Many club members from all over Australia, congregated at Rawnsley Park in the picturesque Flinders Ranges, just south of Wilpena Pound in South Australia. 

The National Conference Organising Committee arranged discussion groups for the executive members from each attending State.

 In addition a Conference Dinner was organised. This allowed all attending members to mix and have a great time socialising together.

Of course, the highlight of the Conference was the EXCLUSIVE viewing of the 'soon to be released' 200 Series Landcruiser. By special arrangement from Toyota Australia, TLC members enjoyed checking out the new 4WD

In all, five conference sessions were held, with incredibly positive vibes from all participants. In fact all States expressed a great desire to work together in a national sense, and thus agreed to set up a national secretariat to be known as The Association of Toyota Landcruisers Clubs of Australia.

There were many memorable moments from the National Conference and it was a sign of things to come with members from different TLC clubs joining in on many 4WD trips.
