A relaxed family friendly trip over the new years period. It's a busy time of the year, so we will be base camping by a river, with time to fish, practice your campfire skills, swim, read a book, and maybe have a few half day 4wd adventures. Come & enjoy a weekenwith Laurie & Heidi celebrating their 75th TLCCV club trip. Base camping at Mirimbah (nr Mt Buller), this relaxing weekend will include some great 4WDing, with a vist to Howqua Gap Hut & Mt Stirling. For those fit energetic members, Heidi will take you for some mountain biking along the Delatite river & other trails near Mt Buller. Around the campfire, Laurie will give us an overview of OziExplorer 4WD mapping software, plus other tracking software he uses. 8 Vehicles

Enjoy the 52 crossings of the tranquil Haunted Stream. For MTB enthusiasts, you can spend some of the morning pedalling aong parts of the Haunted Stream. Overnight will be down on the Wentworth River at Camms top Place. Sunday will see us take on Murdering Spur. Our trip will finish in Dargo. 8 Vehicles

Drive the only legal sand dunes in Victoria. Test your skills on the many steep sand hills. Apart from a drop toilet there are no amenities at the camping area. Caravans and camper trailers are OK. A great exciting trip in the sandy Little Desert. Come & also enjoy the wild flower splendour. We will travel through the western block to look for flora & fauna. We will then head north to Mt Moffat before entering the central block for our overnight camp. On Sunday, we continue through the central block & then enter the eastern block of the Little Desert National Park before exiting near Dimboola. 6 Vehicles

Another exciting day trip. Come & enjoy a day's driving through the Brisbane ranges. We will depart Anakie mid morning & travel through the parks tracks, stopping for photo opportunities as they arise. After some great driving, we will stop to enjoy a picnic lunch at Stony Creek picnic grounds. After lunch we will continue our tour of the Brisbane Ranges & finish mid afternoon at Steiglitz. 9 Vehicles

A great historic adventure, retracing Cecil Madigan's line across the Simpson Desert. This s a difficult trip with some travelling across the desert with ill defined tracks. Difficulties are expected to include soft sand, big dunes, spinifex, sand moguls, sharp stakes, 'scratchadora' shrubs, and possibly even mud if there has been any rain. 6 Vehicles
