The next Social event for the Melbourne Branch will be the long postponed Okami Japanese Restaurant on Sunday 20th February at 205 Nelson Place, Williamstown at 5pm.

Parking is available nearby and seems to be free after 5pm. The session goes for 2 hours and there are plenty of ice cream places and coffee places if we want to kick on afterwards. Places are limited!

We are heading down to the Ballarat Wildlife Park. Join us at 10.30am on Sunday the 16th of February for a picnic lunch or utilise the onsite cafateria.
There are oportunities for photos with the animals including Koalas, Kangaroos, Wombats, the Giant Tortoise and even a Snake (for those so inclined). Who doesn't love watching a Meerkat get up to Meerkat business?

All TLCCV members are invited for a fun weekend at Forrest in the Otway Ranges for the Geelong Branch annual Christmas Party on November 23rd-24th, 2019.
Accommodation is at the Wonky Stables (Forrest Caravan Park) and dinner at the Forrest Brewery (a short walk from caravan park).
Also included, is the Geelong Branch Christmas Raffle - prizes include a set of 4WD tyres valuated at $1,600.e will be exploring the area driving Forest Roads and Tracks.
Please bring all your camping gear, food and drinks & warm clothes.

Silo Art Tour

Have you wanted to go on the Silo Art Tour in the Wimmera-Mallee region, but somehow never got there?
Our tour starts from a campground near Ballarat on the Friday afternoon, and for those that can’t get there until Saturday, there will be a Bakery stop for morning tea on the Saturday morning.
Included in the viewing of the Silo Art sites, we will be visiting museums, historic buildings and other places of interest, viewing spectacular sunsets (hopefully) and the odd pub meal or scrumptious country morning tea or lunch thrown in for good measure.
Saturday night will be in the southern area of the Silo Trail and Sunday and Monday nights centrally, with a day trip on Monday returning to the same campground.
With a limit of 12 vehicles & 24 persons, you will need to book early.
There is no four-wheel driving involved.

TLCC All States Gathering 2019

Come & join us at the TLCC National Gathering.
South Australian Branch is offering a variety of day trips around the Flinders Ranges during the National Gathering, and also a post trip to Arkaroola or Wichelina Nature Reserve. Applications are now open to pre-register for this event next year.
Once you have registered, camping details and other information will be sent to you as it becomes available. Final TLCCSA registration forms will be sent to you following your successful registraion.
TLCCV will be running trips from Victoria to Hawker SA and also return trips. There may be extended trips North to Alice Springs and a possible trip going West to WA.his day is for all members to enjoy.

Lerderderg Lunch & Fireplace Clean Up

We will be driving around tracks in Lerderderg to dismantle illegal fireplaces for Parks Vic.
The only fireplaces allowed are concrete and metal fire pits, we'll "deconstruct' all the others, hoping that it will discourage new ones forming.
Great activity for children, last year they had a great time.
Leave from Geelong or meet us at Bacchus Marsh.
Please bring gloves and closed in shoes, something to BBQ or a Picnic.

Lots of mountain bike trails around Forrest leading to the lake.
After lunch you can stop at Erskine Falls and head home via Lorne where we hope to see the massive stingrays that come in around 4pm to feed under the pier.
